Hey there, dear readers! I have some exciting news to share with you all. We’ve just moved into a large house! Naturally, I considered the designs of houses. There are countless options to choose from, and I must admit, it’s been more challenging than I initially anticipated.
I’ve settled on some bathroom and kitchen designs that I really liked. I couldn’t wait to share with you.
Bathroom
For some people, it’s just a space where they go through their daily routines, taking a quick shower, brushing their teeth, and that’s it. But for me, the bathroom is so much more than that. It’s where I can unwind and take some time for myself. This is where I start and end my day, so I wanted the bathroom to be a space where I feel comfortable.
In terms of design, I’ve been dreaming of incorporating elements like warm wood accents, soothing shades of gray and white, and the elegance of marble. And to take the relaxation factor up a notch, I’ve envisioned having both a luxurious shower cabin and a freestanding bathtub – a perfect duo for ultimate pampering sessions.
Below are a few pictures of bathrooms that have inspired me:

Kitchen
Deciding on the kitchen design was quite challenging. There’s something undeniably beautiful about white marble in the kitchen – it adds an elegant touch like no other. However, I’ve learned from personal experience that it might not be the most practical choice. Marble is quite porous, and if you spill red wine or turmeric on it, it will immediately absorb the stains. So, I crossed that idea off the list.
As much as I adore the warmth of wood in home decor, surprisingly, I didn’t feel the same for my kitchen. I wanted a different vibe for this space – something uniquely suited to my tastes and lifestyle.
Below, you’ll find photos of kitchens that would make me very happy:
