How To Keep Your Kids Safe Online?! Safe E-mail for Kids

My son likes to play different games on his smartphone, but many games need registration via email. I know how important technologies are in our daily lives. However, I did not want to register him a standard e-mail because I was afraid that e-mail will start to fill up with junk.
When I heard about KidsEmail.Org, I immediately decided to try it. I created an e-mail account for my son. Now, he finally has his own email address through KidsEmail.org. He registers in different programs using e-mail.
I want to tell you about this service.
KidsEmail.org is a safe email service for kids and families. They offer a 30 day free trial to try out the service to see if it is the right choice for you!
Some of the settings that are available include options for:
- Parents are able to receive a copy of all incoming and/or outgoing email that is sent to/from your child. (enable/disable as needed)
- You can choose to restrict times of the day and days of the week that your child can login.
- The Mail Queue allows the parent to intercept an email that failed the safety rules. The parent can then approve the email to be sent to their child or deny and remove the email from the mail queue.
- Parents can rest assured that their child won’t get inappropriate spam in their inbox.
- KidsEmail.org offers two types of email address formats, kidsemail.org and kmail.org.
- There are also App so the email is accessible wherever they go.
There is a parent login page. Upon signing in for the first time, I was prompted to register. After registering, I was prompted to create email address for my son. The next step is to set up the safety features. Each account has the opportunity to change the background, font, and so on to be more customized for the user.
My son’s thoughts: It’s very easy to use. I like being able to control what ends up in my inbox and what doesn’t. I liked being able to customize my background. I can email drawings to friends. I’m also sending smiley emoticons.
I like that KidsEmail.org has allowed me to give them something that they have wanted without the ads or junk email. The internet is not a safe place for children so making it a little safe, with a good easy to use and appropriate e-mail is something I really appreciate and think most parents would as well. My son loves the freedom of having his own account. It’s cool!
