Review: Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Primer

Nowadays primer is a must-have. It helps to smooth skin, to hide enlarged pores, it mattes, moisturizes etc. After applying primer the makeup is put on evenly.

Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Primer
Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Primer is a makeup base for oily and problem skin care.

The ingredients of the primer are minerals from the Jeju Island and mint sap that control skin oil and provides pleasant fresh smell. The product easily conceals fine lines and enlarged pores without clogging them. It controls the work of sebaceous glands during the day.

I have oily skin in T-zone with large enlarged pores and the skin is sensitive. That’s why above all I’m searching primer which doesn’t dry skin and not stresses skin flaky patches (as primer often stress skin flaky patches which I don’t have).  And control skin oil would be a great bonus though it isn’t essential in primer for me as I used to facial blotting tissues.

As for the texture the product is thick, matte, very smooth to the touch, it is applied evenly to skin and it is immediately absorbed.

This primer makes your face velvety, nice to the touch, silky; skin flaky is not stressed. But it doesn’t cover large pores. Long time ago I bought Skinfood Black Egg Pore Gel Base, that covers large pores just perfectly, but at the same time it stresses skin flaky which I apparently don’t have. In order not to lose both primers I’ve decided to blend them on my hand and to apply this mix on my face. That’s how I got the perfect facial primer. The finish is velvety, large pores are covered. There is no mattifying effect on my face, the  skin starts to shine as fast as without applying the primer. To tell the truth I’ve never seen a primer that would matte my face for more than a couple of hours.

Of course, I will search for another primer in future (when these two finish) not to spend time on blending.
